Men's Football
The Swans men trace their history back to the Crushers of the reborn Tamworth AFL in 1997, winning the inaugural Premiership and following that up in 1999, 2006 and 2009. In recent years they were Grand Finalists in 2020, and qualified for the major semi-final before COVID interrupted the 2021 season, before playing in Grand Finals in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

Joining the growing AFL North West NSW women's competition in 2019, the Swans have been a developing force, making a preliminary final in their first year, a Grand Final in their second, and finals again in 2021 before the season ended prematurely. The Swans women qualified for Preliminary Finals each year from 2022 to 2024.
Junior Football
Junior Football
Junior football in Tamworth is played under the banner of the Roosters, a collaboration between the Tamworth Kangaroos and the Swans. The Roosters were Premiers in both Under 14s and Under 17s in 2020. In 2024, the Roosters Under 14s joined with the Gunnedah Bulldogs to secure another Premiership. In 2025 we will be competing in U10s, U12s and U14s competitions.
